I performed a tune up on a 2015 Carrier electric furnace. Everything working within manufacturers specifications at this time.

During a tune up on a 2002 Armstrong furnace, I found that the Motor Surge Capacitor 1-7.5MSC is reading low and replaced it for customer. I advised customer that the circuit board will also need replaced soon. Everything working and heating properly on departure.

I replaced the motor surge capacitor and recommended the customer replace his thermostat as it was acting odd and displaying screens and numbers in a way that did not make sense.

I checked the flame sensors reading and it cycled from 1.1 to 0 after the ignition. This shows that the flame sensor is dirty and requires cleaning so I cleaned the flame sensors and the reading went up to 2.8. I ran the system for 10 minutes with no issues and cycled the system multiple times. The 2008 Lennox is currently on and operational.
